Built by Women: The Voices Powering 624
From big-picture vision to the smallest details, our agency is powered by women who lead with instinct, intelligence, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
In an industry that moves fast and demands even faster thinking, these women show up every day with creativity, resilience, and perspective that shapes not only our client work — but our culture.
In honor of Women’s History Month and International Women’s Day, we asked each member of the 624 team to share a little about their journey, the women who’ve influenced them, and what leadership means in this season of their careers. Consider this a behind-the-scenes look at the minds building the brands you know — and a celebration of the women shaping what’s next.
Meet Maria, Retention Marketing Strategist
-
A: I’ve always loved the right-brain/left-brain balance of marketing — getting to be creative while still holding yourself accountable to results. I enjoy building new programs from the ground up, testing ideas, and seeing tangible impact. The challenge of turning creativity into measurable outcomes is what really drives me.
-
A: My Grammy. She immigrated to the U.S. after meeting my grandfather while he was stationed in the Army, and she has always been a constant source of strength and encouragement in my life. She taught me that with hard work, resilience, and confidence, anything is possible — and she never once made me doubt myself.
-
A: Don’t compare yourself to anyone else. You’re exactly where you need to be, even when it doesn’t feel like it.
-
A: Leadership is a mix of emotional intelligence and strong instincts. It’s understanding the strengths of the people around you, trusting them, and creating an environment where everyone can do their best work while building something meaningful together.
-
Having the confidence to take leaps into new opportunities and carve out a niche that truly fits me. Finding my place in creative marketing — where strategy, storytelling, and performance intersect — has been incredibly rewarding.
-
A: Gypsy by Fleetwood Mac.
-
Marilyn Monroe — for her complexity, vulnerability, and the way she navigated strength and softness in a world that often underestimated her.
Meet Brayden, Social Media Manager
-
A: Marketing felt like the perfect intersection of psychology, creativity, and strategy. I love that it’s both analytical and emotional. You can look at data all day, but at the end of it, you’re still speaking to real people.
-
A: My Nana. She didn't work in marketing, but she shaped the way I think about work, resilience, and showing up for people. She taught me that your reputation is built on treating people with respect and never cutting corners.
-
A: Stop waiting until you feel “ready," because you never will. No one feels ready, so apply anyway. Ask for the raise, pitch the idea, send the email, make the move, etc.
-
A: Leadership to me is clarity, accountability, and empathy. It’s the person who makes everyone else better, who gives direction but also creates opportunity for new ideas. Strong leadership means making decisions confidently while still being open to feedback. And most importantly, it means taking responsibility when things go wrong.
-
A: I’m proud of the moments where I stepped up beyond my title, asked for promotions & raises, and how I'm trusted with clients/my client relationships.
-
A: Messy by Lola Young or You're So Vain by Carly Simon
-
A: Dolly Parton
Meet Logan, Client Services Director
-
A: I studied journalism in college, but after taking a social media course I quickly realized that my skillset complemented marketing quite well. It was a very natural transition and progression for me.
-
A: There are too many to name. I really do feel like a tapestry of so many women who have shaped me — from my mom, to my high school journalism teacher, to professors and colleagues.
-
A: As women we’re accustomed to shrinking ourselves, and we’re often the first to diminish our own talents and gifts. My advice would be to exist loudly and never count myself out.
-
A: Leadership to me is just as emotional as it is logistical. My role as a first time mom has strengthened this instinct, reinforcing the idea that we achieve the best outcomes from people when our systems are built with both structure and heart.
-
A: I’m proud of the way I’ve evolved as a leader over the years. Who I was at 23 and who I am at 31 are two very different people, and I’m excited to see who I become by 41.
-
A: Fighter - Christina Aguilera
-
A: There are so many, but one that comes to mind immediately is Princess Diana. While she’s of course revered as a style icon, I admire her for her empathy, compassion and her commitment to humanitarian efforts — and that she wasn’t afraid to question the status quo and shake things up.
Meet Morgan, Creative Marketing Coordinator
-
A: From running a Dance Moms fan account with my best friend to running my sorority’s Instagram, I have always loved creating, collaborating and sharing my ideas with others!
-
A: My high school art teacher, Ms. Colby, encouraged me to pursue a creative career path. I am so grateful she instilled that confidence in me while I was young! Within my career, Lauren has made the biggest impact! I didn't even realize email marketing was an option for me. I've learned so much about design from her!
-
A: Collaborate as much as you can! Learning from others is so valuable! Also, make time to create art outside of work!
-
A: To me, leadership is about creating a welcoming space so people feel comfortable sharing their ideas and asking questions.
-
A: I started at 624 as an intern, so I was especially proud when I was offered a full-time position! I also love when a client loves my design, it’s super rewarding to be able to execute an idea for them!
-
A: Wide Open Spaces - The Chicks
-
A: I would have coffee with Joan Baez, she's a folk artist and civil rights activist. I have always been inspired by her music and how she has dedicated her life to philanthropy. community. and peace.
Meet Lauren, Founder
-
A: Leading a team of women is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. I’ve spent most of my career working with women, but in this role I get to be a mentor and work with my team to help them grow and pursue their ambitions. I also love the culture of collaboration and consideration at 624. Each member of our team truly cares for each other and our clients… I’m very proud of that.
-
A: Before launching 624, I worked on the brand side for 10 years. I know what it’s like to grow a brand from the inside, and I wanted to bring that experience to the agency side. We bring deep industry expertise to our clients, and that’s not something most agencies can say.
-
A: There have been many, but one was definitely the shift to building our team. We feel so strongly that clients should all receive personalized service, but there are only so many clients I could personally work with. It felt like a huge step at the time, but once we made our first hire it was clear to me that this was the way forward. It also helped me to identify that our mission is not just helping our clients, but also getting to support the careers and professional development of the talented women around me.
-
A: Becoming the sole owner of 624 last year was a big turning point for me. I did a lot of soul searching to determine what leadership would look like for me without a partner – and if that was even something I wanted. Ultimately, I decided that I still had so much work to do in this role, with this company, and that potential is what fuels me now.
-
A: I have definitely shifted away from hustle culture in favor of more balance. Success to me now is about doing less, but doing it better – rather than measuring success on how much I could accomplish or growth for the sake of growth.
-
A: Women are problem solvers and doers. We don’t just talk about ideas, we actually get things done.
-
A: One of my first bosses, Christie, who owned a clothing boutique that I worked at over summers at the beach. Even though it was a seasonal position, she took an interest in my career aspirations and invested in me. She encouraged me to get involved in the store buying and marketing, in addition to my shop girl duties. I took many lessons from that experience, both for my own career, and for how I hope to lead.
